Description The Biostatistician I position at Mount Sinai is focused on providing statistical support for clinical projects, including study design, sample size determination, and protocol development across the labs of Drs. Li and Parekh. The role involves preparing statistical analysis plans, generating summary tables, and performing database integration to facilitate comprehensive analyses. The biostatistician will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate presentation of project results and adherence to standard operating procedures. In addition to supporting clinical projects, the biostatistician will perform Differential Item Functioning (DIF) and Item Response Theory (IRT) analyses to evaluate cultural and linguistic biases in cognitive and psychological assessment tools. The candidate will also conduct advanced statistical analyses to develop normative data for cognitive tests. The Biostatistician I will report to Drs.
