Description Valley Health System, in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is actively recruiting a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join the team as Medical Director of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. The candidate selected for this position will work in conjunction with the Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital to develop a comprehensive pediatric pulmonary medicine program in northern New Jersey. This provider will also oversee the Valley Hospital pediatric PFT laboratory and work in conjunction with the Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital to develop a comprehensive pediatric sleep medicine program in northern New Jersey. The clinical duties required will include: Provides care for children with acute and chronic pulmonary disorders (i.e.: asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), management of ventilator/CPAP devices) in both inpatient and outpatient settings through Valley Hospital and VHS outlets.
