• • • Coronary Care Unit Nursing Assistant F/T Evenings

      In this role, the Nursing Assistant provides, assist and support the Registered Nurse in addressing basic nursing care to all patients.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

        * Candidate is responsible to assist Registered Nurses in all aspects of patient flow while maintaining a high quality of patient care in a compassionate and humane manner
        * This includes, but is not limited to feeding, bathing, ambulating, cleaning of patients, and to provide other given orders from the supervisor on duty, Nurse Manager and/or Assistant Nurse Manager
        * This a full\-time evening shift (3:30pm\-midnight) at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital**REQUIREMENTS:**        
      
      
        * High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
        * Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program is required
        * Experience with Cardiac division is preferred
        * Basic computer skills required.
