The per diem nurse educator is responsible for assisting with orientation, in-services, continuing and mandated education for all levels of professional nurses and nursing support staff. Responsibilities included but are not limited to collaborating on projects related to our Magnet journey, developing course curriculum incorporating evidence-based practice, and teaching courses using cutting-edge technology. At NYPH, we promote best clinical practices and inspire award-winning nurses. The nurse educator regularly evaluates staff competencies and provides clinical mentorship and career guidance.
