Executive Chef - Full Time - Day Flex

We seek a dynamic culinary leader to oversee all high-volume kitchen operations at Columbia University Irving Medical Center Campus.

The ideal candidate will:

• Menu Innovation: Continuously evolve our menu, staying ahead of culinary trends.
• Operational Excellence: Manage daily kitchen operations, optimize processes, and ensure food safety and quality standards.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgetary control, including food cost management and labor scheduling.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with NYP and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, NYSDOH, CMS).
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requires strong culinary skills, administrative abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Culinary Arts Program or equivalent field.
