Social Worker - Inpatient  Lymphoma & Myeloma - Weill Cornell - F/T - Days

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Inpatient Lymphoma/ & Myeloma Social Worker to join our oncology team. This role is critical in providing comprehensive psychosocial support to patients diagnosed with lymphoma and their families during their inpatient stay. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience in medical social work, and a commitment to holistic patient care.

Key responsibilities include conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and practical needs of lymphoma patients and their families. The social worker will provide ongoing emotional support, counseling, and crisis intervention throughout the patient’s treatment. 

Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the social worker will coordinate care to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.
