Beyond questions and concerns about the disease, questions may arise such as “what do I do next?” “How am I going to get to my appointment?” and “how am I going to pay for this?” The good news is NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Patient Navigators have answers to these questions and provide solutions and guidance to our patients during their cancer care experience.
Patient Navigator - Breast Center – Grant Funded - Days
The Patient Navigator role functions as the primary care coordinator for Breast Center patients and collaborates with key clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care, follow up, and treatment. Responsibilities include determining eligibility and enrolling patients as necessary, coordinating appointments, providing logistical support, facilitating the collection of medical records, insurance and financial information while acting as a liaison between the patient and the medical team. ...
