Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner -Full Time - Comprehensive Health Program - Ambulatory Care Network/Columbia Campus

The Comprehensive Health Program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center has provided team based care to patients of all ages with HIV/AIDS and other chronic infections since 1998. Today, we care for over 3,000 individuals with HIV, hepatitis C, STDs, and other infectious conditions, including Prevention Services such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
The Psych NP will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing acute illness; providing psychotherapy; prescribing medication for both acute and chronic illness; interpreting labs and diagnostic studies, as well as provide clinical consultation and supervision to our behavioral health clinicians (social workers) and other clinical team members.
