    Occupational Therapist**– Acute Burn Rehab - Full Time - Cornell Campus**

As part of our tight-knit team, you’ll have the opportunity to provide outstanding, empathetic care to burn survivors in NewYork-Presbyterian’s William Randolph Hearst Burn Center.  

     

    At NewYork-Presbyterian’s William Randolph Hearst Burn Center, you will find a patient focused, engaging and supportive environment.   The burn therapist, as part of a patient-centered multidisciplinary team, strives to maximize developmental and functional outcomes, as well as a person’s social and psychological health. This role requires specialized training in burns as these injuries are complex and require early skilled intervention.    You will evaluate, plan and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for adult and pediatric patients.  This includes providing skilled intervention using varieties of techniques that address pain, wound care, contracture prevention, and scar prevention and management.

     

    The hours for this full-time position are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm with intermittent weekend and holiday coverage.
