Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem Milstein/Allen Hospital

At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center our Speech-Language Pathologists help adult patients experiencing serious impairments to connect with the world around them. Under the supervision of the Manager of Speech-Language Pathology, you will work with adult and geriatric patients from the most acutely ill in our ICU/acute care units, the inpatient rehabilitation unit, to the outpatient setting. This position will be at the Milstein and Allen Hospital location.

This is a per diem position with flexibility to work shifts on Weekdays/Weekends/Holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience assessing and treating medically complex adult patients, including ICU level patients.
• Experience providing communication and dysphagia intervention for patients with tracheostomy .
• Competency performing Modified Barium Swallow Study and/or Flexible Endoscopy of Swallowing.
