Sourcing Lead – Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

In this position you will develop and maintain business relationships with new and existing suppliers for products and services purchased by NYP. Provide fact-based solutions to understand and serve the needs of the organization, and source goods / services accordingly. Have keen understanding of the existing supply chain for assigned categories and an awareness of emerging potential suppliers and technologies Negotiate for the hospital through issuing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and coordinating evaluation of suppliers for end users. Develop ongoing relationships with departmental leaders to understand sourcing needs, opportunities, and priorities.

Preferred Criteria:

• 3-5 years of healthcare experience preferred
• Outstanding collaborative leadership and group management skills
