NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, New York, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, serving Queens and metro New York residents.

The 535-bed tertiary care facility provides services in 14 clinical departments and numerous subspecialties.  Annually, 15,000 surgeries and 4,000 infant deliveries are performed at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Opportunity to join our team as a Distribution Clerk reporting to Materials Management department. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Ordering and receiving inventory.
• Exchanging empty medical gas tanks in the units with filled ones as well as ordering them.
• Distributing all supplies and equipment required for the daily operation of the facility.
• Receive all internal and external mail and overnight packages from the interdepartmental staff, USPS, and various overnight carriers.
• Maintaining inventory.
• Posting receipts to hospital materials management system.
• Operating internal equipment and machinery-Utilizing hydraulic lifts and jacks.

This is a full-time day shift 7am0-3pm Monday-Friday.

Located at: NYP Queens Hospital-56-45 Main Street-Flushing.

Preferred Criteria:

• Inventory management experience.
