Social Worker- Behavioral Health Clinician, Comprehensive Heath Program ACN -Bilingual Spanish Columbia
The Comprehensive Health Program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center has provided care to patients of all ages with HIV/AIDS and other chronic infections since 1998. Today, we care for over 2,500 individuals with HIV, hepatitis C, STDs, and other infectious conditions. We also provide access to preventative measures such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP ) Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) .
Our Behavioral Health Clinicians work within a multi-disciplinary care team to provide services to people living with HIV, Hepatitis C, and at risk for HIV. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides mental health services to patients on an on-needed basis to patients as part of their comprehensive treatment plan. The Behavioral Health Clinician will help to support two important initiatives that provide care to birthing persons and those who are of childbearing age and have dependent children, as well as services to support youth living with HIV.
