Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assist the practitioners and management in daily office operations. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility. As a Certified Medical Assistant in our Primary Care and Multi-Specialty practice you will:
- Prep and assist in the exam room
- Triage Patients
- Collects urine and draw blood samples
- Take and record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients
This is a 37.5hr weekly schedule; Full-Time position with varied hours of (10am-6:00pm as well as 8am to 4:00pm) Must be flexible with hours; overtime as needed. Located at 340 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. May be required to cover for other practice locations within Brooklyn.
Preferred Criteria
- Medical Assistant experience within a OBGYN healthcare setting.
- Strong Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Bilingual- English and Spanish speaking
