What You’ll Be Doing
The Real Dill ☘️
Noom is one of the more senior metabolic management startups on the market - they've been around for nearly a decade, have raised $600mn+, and earned hundreds of millions in revenue. Originally a phone app that color coded foods to help users seeking weight loss manage eating behaviors and choices, they've grown to include additional programs, such as telehealth prescription programs for GLP-1s and other synergistic programs to help patients combine behavior change with weight loss goals. However, much like other tech companies, Noom has experienced a few series of layoffs over the last few years. Is the weight-loss startup space reaching saturation? (May 2024)
