Are you looking for a role in a company that's solving one of the greatest challenges of our lifetime? Ophelia helps people end their opioid use and restore their quality of life with respect for their time and dignity. Our mission is to make evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorder (OUD) accessible to everyone... and we're looking to bring more people onto our team to help us achieve it.
Ophelia is a venture-backed, healthcare startup that helps individuals with OUD by providing FDA-approved medication and clinical care through a telehealth platform. Our approach is discreet, convenient, and affordable. We've been successfully operating in 14 states for almost four years and we're excited to continue our growth. We are a team of doctors, scientists, startup veterans, and White House advisors, backed by leading technology and healthcare investors working to re-imagine and re-build OUD treatment in America.

The Real Dill ☘️
Most Americans have heard about the impact of opioids on society, but here's a crazy stat about access to care from the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA): In 2021, an estimated 2.5 million people aged 18 years or older in the U.S. had opioid use disorder in the past year, yet only 1 in 5 of them (22%) received medications to treat it. Simply put, there's been rapid growth in opioid misuse, and a widening access gap in treating patients struggling with opioid addiction. Enter Ophelia, combining digital team-based care, clinician training programs, and custom software to increase treatment availability and efficacy to combat the opioid epidemic. This all sounds great, but the reported stats back it up - 70% six-month retention, over twice as high as industry averages. The opioid crisis doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, and the problem Ophelia is trying to solve is one that many can root for. (April 2024)
