Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Product Designer to join our Product Design team.

About the role
Our Product Design organization is a multidisciplinary team that examines the entire member journey and considers the design of systems to be as important as the artifacts we make. Our practice is human-centered, our work is rooted in empathy and research, and we lead by example and with our values.
As a Product Designer, you will actively collaborate with and partner with your colleagues in product, design, and engineering along with stakeholders outside of the technology org, such as clinicians. Oscar Health might be one of the biggest insurance "startups" you might not have heard about in clinic - they IPO'd in 2021 on the New York Stock Exchange and hired insurance giant Aetna's ex-CEO in 2023. Primarily insuring rural, underserved markets, Oscar Health is still loss-making, but is making 2024's goal of profitability known. There's definitely a need in this space for quality insurance options for rural and underserved communities - here's to hoping Oscar Health changes the game for millions of Americans. (November 2023)
