About the role
The Vice President of Insurance Product Innovation and Development will lead product strategy, product design and product management for Oscar’s current and future insurance product portfolio. This leader will work with Market, actuarial, sales and network partners to achieve Oscar’s long term membership and financial goals and ensure that our products are aligned with market demands, company goals, and regulatory requirements. Oscar Health might be one of the biggest insurance "startups" you might not have heard about in clinic - they IPO'd in 2021 on the New York Stock Exchange and hired insurance giant Aetna's ex-CEO in 2023. Primarily insuring rural, underserved markets, Oscar Health is still loss-making, but is making 2024's goal of profitability known.
