Pair Team is on a mission to improve the wellbeing of underserved communities through increased access to high-quality care.
We are the first tech-enabled care team that empowers safety-net primary care systems and the Medicaid & Medicare patients they serve. We act as an extension of the clinical staff to provide a personalized, high-touch care experience while addressing patients' barriers to care such as lack of transportation, housing/food insecurity, and mobile phone access. Internally, we are building a unique care delivery platform to ensure clinical best practices, integrate care with community-based organizations, and automate administrative work so that we can focus on time with our patients.
Our Values
The Real Dill ☘️
While Medicare Advantage has been in the news for years, Medicaid has been another huge challenge in the US. Often, patients using Medicaid have the fewest resources, suffer from a variety of intertwining comorbidities, and reduced service accessibility. More established companies like CityBlock have been built around supporting the Medicaid population, and newer players like Pair Team are continuing the fight for patients by connecting patients to high-quality resources near them, ranging from primary care to nutrition services to food pantries and more. Pair Team started in California, but it will be interesting to watch them grow, as Medicaid challenges are vast yet not uniform - each state has it's own Medicaid regulations, unlike Medicare's national-scale programs.
