The opportunity:
Parsley Health is looking for a Member Insurance Benefits Associate to join our team. The Member Insurance Benefits Associate will be focused on researching and communicating insurance benefits and eligibility information with members. The Member Benefits Associate will be focused on insurance verification, communication of benefits to members, and collection of copayments and member responsibility when appropriate. This position will also be responsible for fielding all member questions related to insurance, EOBs, reimbursement processes, and medical billing.

They've been able to wrap in additional programs to their offerings such as health coaching and coordinated mental care for their target population, from menopatuse to reproductive health. Now, they're growing their operations into the employment benefits sector, having started as a direct-to-consumer digital health offering (and covering 10Mn+ lives along the way). There are many players in both the women's health and employment benefits healthcare sectors - it will be interesting to see if there's an ultimate winner, or whether there's space for many players with slightly different positionings and offerings to co-exist.
