Here's a crazy stat from Resilience Lab: "Fewer than 600,000 active licensed therapists are practicing in the U.S. today, resulting in 40% of U.S. adults being unable to find mental health care treatment." This is absolutely wild - the global clinician shortage is well-reported throughout the media news cycle, but seeing it's specific impact in mental health quantified is pretty shocking. Resilience Lab has developed an ecosystem around this problem - upskilling to narrow the divide between academic and practice, revenue management for billing, and matching of patients to providers.
