Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to architect, build, and operate a development platform that other teams will use to build products and services. The ideal candidate is a skilled programmer that knows how to build reusable and scalable system capabilities with Kuberntes and AWS. 

This role is fully remote within the US.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and drive out the design and capabilities of the SmarterDx development platform.
• Build, deploy, maintain, and monitor common AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Build capabilities using Kubernetes custom controllers in Go and deploy common libraries in Python and Typescript to utilize common data, observability, and monitoring systems.
• Ensure the security of our clients’ data by building secure patterns into the fabric of the system in close collaboration with Security Engineering.
• Support the SmarterDx platform in production, applying an SRE mindset and toolkit.
• Research and advocate for improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team.
