About the Role
Serve as the key partner to Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) staff to connect Veteran clients with Community Care mental health services, in collaboration with internal SonderMind teams.

With competition comes failures, and the mental health space is no different. Sondermind, one of the bigger funded ventures in this space, is using its larger scale (and war chest of funding) to acquire companies that are struggling (see its 2023 acqusiion of Mindstrong's tech assets, and its previous acquisition of the neuroscience company Total Brain). With its matchmaking platform making talk therapy and psychiatric care more accessible, it will be interesting to see how the mental health space as a whole (for example, HeadSpace) adapts as larger players continue out-compete and/or acquire smaller players in an effort to fuel sustained growth and uptake while maintaining differentiation from each other.
