Job Description
Role Title: Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer)
Location: Tia SoHo (440 Broome St 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10013) and Tia Williamsburg (62 N 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249)
**Status:**Part-Time
Schedule: 16 or 24hrs/week, 1-2 Saturdays/month
Monday/Tuesday: 8am - 4:30pm EST
Thursday: 11am - 7:30pm EST
Rotating Saturdays: 8am - 4:30pm EST
Compensation: $40-$48/hr
About the Role: We’re looking for a Part-Time****Ultrasound Technologist passionate about women’s health for Tia’s New York clinical team. As Tia Women’s Health ultrasound technologist you’ll be a key component of our care delivery system. You will be responsible for performing scans, effectively managing our patient tracking system, ensuring appropriate scan documentation and patient follow up, and working closely with our clinicians.
Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Abdomen and Transvaginal certified required
- Minimum of 4-6 months of independent experience in performing scans with high diagnostic quality.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as pathology related to diagnostic imaging.
