The TruGuard Associate Business Analyst works with a fast-paced team of business and technical collaborators to analyze pharmacy benefit billing claims data for accuracy and contractual compliance. The Associate Business Analyst is responsible for configuring and analyzing the results from a claims review system for a portfolio of clients. They prepare client reports and may be asked to further analyze the data to provide additional business insights. Notoriously complex and non-transparent, Truveris uses data and analytics to make pricing strategies within PBM contracts more transparent, ultimately increasing price competition and making pharmacy benefits more affordable for consumers. If it sounds complicated, that's because it is. Think of it this way - Truveris combines data from organizations like unions, employers, retail pharmacies, and consumers to work with its large customers to find savings on prescription drug benefits. With the rising cost of prescription drugs, this makes sense - making drug prices more transparent for both insured and uninsured patients through data should help patients find better value amidst constantly rising drug prices.
