At Vitable Health, our team of engineers, clinicians, and operators are building a delightful and affordable primary care offering designed specifically for the 80 million Americans who are uninsured or under-insured.
We built Vitable because healthcare is complex and expensive, but everyone needs it. Our vertically integrated primary and urgent care health program is delivered through a network of nurse practitioners via virtual or in-home visits. We designed our plan to make high-quality concierge care accessible to everyone.

There are many gaps in the US healthcare system from a coverage standpoint, and Vitalize Health is focusing on a very specific one: hourly workers. Specifically, what happens if you're an hourly worker, make too much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to cover the premiums, deductibles, and other costs of other insurance plans? Vitalize Health, coming out of Philadelphia, is working to change that, charging a monthly subscription rate to employees for basic healthcare coverage. This gap may seem crazy to clinicians from single payer systems like the UK's NHS, but is widespread in the US. And Vitalize? They've been backed by giants like billionaire Peter Thiel, Softbank, and Y Combinator to fulfill its mission. (November 2023)
