Job Description

The Technical Accounting Director will be responsible for setting close timelines, accounting policy, and internal controls, as well as performing technical accounting research and documentation. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the close process and external reporting. This roll will be at the forefront of new controllership activities and be a true partner to the organization always approaching work with a lens of adding value to the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage internal and external financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including preparing financial statements and drafting footnote disclosures.
- Perform technical accounting research and document positions in accounting memos.
- Provide reporting guidance to leadership regarding the interpretation and application of policy, especially in complex accounting areas and new accounting guidance.
