    The Real Dill ☘️

WHOOP is almost Facebook-esque in it's origin story - a group of Harvard friends going all-in on a potentially revolutionary idea. In WHOOP's case, that idea was wearables (and, intrinsically, the data generated by users using these wearables). By focusing hard on the potential gains surrounding human performance, its garnered endorsements from kingpins of the sports world like LeBron James, Michel Phelps, Rory McIlroy, and Patrick Mahomes and has been approved as a "fitness wearable" by sports leagues like the MLB, NFL, PGA Tour, and Crossfit. The result: a startup success story with a valuation well into the billions, backed by investment powerhouses such as SoftBank's Vision Fund. (September 2023)
