Software Engineering Intern

About the Software Engineer Intern Role:
The Software Engineer Intern will support software engineers on their processes, shadowing their daily tasks, and performing duties under mentors' guidance. In this role, this person will be responsible for contributing to software design and software development. The person will collaborate with other team members to create secure and reliable software solutions.
The Software Engineer Intern Responsibilities:
- Works with mid-level and senior engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications and programs.
- Performs routine tasks, including debugging, testing and coding.
- Writes readable and well-tested codes.
- Documents and tests new software applications.
- Helps upgrade existing software or applications.
- Researches, investigates and fixes a wide range of technical issues.

Enter Kinetik - using its software platform to connect the healthcare transportation ecosystem, a traditionally fragmented and frustrating space for patients and providers alike. This makes a lot of sense - despite the growth of at home care and digital/telehealth services, there will likely always be a face-to-face component of healthcare, and transportation needs across the entire supply chain. But will Kinetik be the winner if other logistical/transportation giants like Uber or Amazon decide to invest heavily in the space? Who knows...but it's definitely not an excuse to avoid innovation.
