Job Description
We are seeking a VP of IT Operations & Infrastructure to join us in Austin, Texas. You will develop and execute our IT strategy while managing day-to-day operations. You will lead our IT organization—including our dedicated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) group—and oversee back-office IT functions, AWS-based cloud operations, and DevOps practices.
This role requires a collaborative leader who can balance managing tactical work while addressing long-term strategic goals. In addition, you will provide technical leadership focused on cloud operations, DevOps, and SRE best practices to drive innovation, efficiency, and reliability across our healthcare platform, while partnering closely with product teams and ensuring adherence to stringent security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).

There's been a rise of direct-to-consumer (D2C) healthcare companies, slashing costs by cutting out administrative layers and insurance providers, providing more direct care to patients. Nomi Health is one of these (also, see Sesame). As healthcare costs rise (as well as insurance premiums, deductibles, and out of pocket expenses) it appears that D2C has carved out a sizable niche.
